The day before we get out for Christmas is always Pajama Day. The students get so excited about wearing their pajamas. Even I wear mine. And I have to admit, they are way more comfortable than my too tight pants.
We made the candy trains for the children to take home. We took pictures and had a fun day together. In the afternoon they voted which movie they wanted to watch. Would you believe that despite all the movies with their special effects, they chose Rudolph?
At the end of our farm unit we celebrate with a Harvest Festival. Everyone dresses up like a farm animal, farmer, cowboy, or like me, Mrs. Wishy Washy. The children are always so excited about dressing up.
We take pictures, eat a special snack, and do arts and crafts. It's a lot of work, but so much fun. At the end of the day I was exhausted. Nothing like the week of Thanksgiving to recoup.
