At the end of September after learning lots of nursery rhymes, we had a special celebration. Each student dressed up as a nursery rhyme character, including myself and my aide.
We had a backdrop painted for us. We set up a little stage in front of the backdrop for students to perform their nursery rhyme.
We took individual pictures and then a class picture. We sent the pictures home in a nursery rhyme-themed picture frame I made.

During snack time, we had Humpty Dumpty cookies, star-shaped cookies, and orange slices. One of my room moms ordered letter cookie cutters. Each child got a cookie cutter with their first initial with a tag that had the Pat-a-Cake nursery rhyme on it.

This is so cute! I did a nursery rhyme unit several years ago and the kids loved it.
